The most important Knee Knacker map ever.

The stunning new Knee Knacker website features some archival statistics of interest (finishing times, course records, and the like) but sadly omits at least one important historic record of the race:

Three Fools finish Tahoe Rim Trail Run 100 miles

Well, the fools are at it again. Gilles, John and Karl ran the Tahoe Rim Trail 100 M. It was a whirlwind of flying to Reno, crewing, staying up late and getting back on the plane for me.  My intention was to post pics to club fat ass as soon as possible and let everyon live the journey alongside Linda, Lorraine and myself. However, when I went to post to the fat ass site, the hotel firewall would not let me.

Bill's Great Peak Ascent

25 Jul 2009 07:30
Location:
North Vancouver, BC Canada

It's that time of the year again!   With Kneeknacker over and done with and STORMY coming up, Bill's Great Peak Ascent offers a great group training opportunity for those with upcoming races or just to wanting to get some more off-road mileage in.

As with last year, there'll be lots of swag possibilities for those who come to the post-run event.  And, of course, if that's not enough, there's always that free beer awaiting participants at the Mosquito Creek Grill.

The KneeKnacker (KKNSTR) is tomorrow.  It's a 50K (OK, OK, Enzo, it's 30-miles...)

For my buddy Steve, this is his first ultra.  With 15 hours to go before the start, Steve is suffering from gastrointestinal distress.  He's all stressed out about what to pack.

So what should he pack?
