Going on the wagon and rules for healthy eating

We had a fantastic summer here in BC and I hope you had as much fun as I did.  While the weather was great for enjoying the great outdoors it also contributed to me indulging a bit.  So to get my nutrition back on track I began a simple nutrition plan after the Labour Day weekend – I gave up alcohol and sugar.

Runner Missing - Search Help Needed Urgently

I just got a call from Wendy Montgomery.  Mick Maguire (some of you might know him) hasn't returned from an early morning run.  Police is asking for capable runners to help in the search.  ]

Anybody able to help and cover trails in a specific area is asked to check in with authorities at Mick's house at 1641 Dempsey Road in North Vancouver.  Before setting out, please pack trail essentials, especially space blanket and flash light.

Here is a photo of Mick (centre):

Youngest Bagger???

This summer has seen great outings into our beautiful and challenging back country to bag the peaks of the Bagger Challenge.  While I didn't get into it until late and subsequently don't have many peaks to my name, I enjoyed that this was something to do with the whole family.  There are many peaks that are perfectly suitable for younger ones... and we got proof right here (very sweet):

Interested in Online Marketing?

We are looking for a few volunteers to submit scheduled 2010 CFA events to online calendars.  To help out you'll need a computer, Internet access, basic computer skills and a couple of hours (more if you like).

The task is fairly straight forward. You will be working from a mastersheet containing all event information, like date, name, distance and description.  Let me know if you can spare a couple of hours and I'll discuss details with you.
