Club Fat Ass - Squamish Crawler Night Run

Lovely evening for a night run! Been having some ITB issues since May after trying new trail shoes, but it's been resolving ever since I made the switch back to road runners during the Van 100. Does anyone need a size 9 Brooks Cascadia? Can't use them anymore, and they're still in great shape!! (I'm serious)

Bill's Great Peak Ascent (and Swagfest)

One week to go until the 5th running of Bill's Great Peak Ascent! Perfect timing for a 30 km, right smack dab in the middle between Kneeknacker and STORMY. This is a good STORMY training run or just a good opportunity to get a 30 km (or less) training run in with friends. Afterwards, we'll be getting together at the Mosquito Creek grill for a free beer, food, and socializing. Also, this year, I've got tons of swag to give away. You gotta be at the Grill to be eligible though! Hope to see you all there!

Vermont 100 - Going Solo - without the other fools

Well, it's time for another 100 mile race!! This is the second in the grand slam series that Gilles was supposed to be doing this year. We all know what happened to Western States. So, instead he will continue with the other grand slam races and a few others for good measure.

Good luck to all the CFA'ers at Tahoe Rim!

50K: Rhonda Schuller!

50 miler: Marla Weinheimer, Carolyn King, Cheryl Johnson and Philip Waters!

Looking for at least 1 other person to complete the 28 mile Loowit Trail that runs around the summit of Mount St. Helens. According to Google Maps, the drive is about 6 hours plus border traffic to get from Vancouver to the June Lake trailhead or from the climbing bivouac trailhead located on the south side of the mountain. For more information about the trail, check out the links below.
