The 7th running of the North Shore 6-Hour Enduro begins at 8am Saturday May 9th. The Enduro is the perfect event for those preparing for summer 100 milers. The start/finish area acts as your aid station while you loop the challenging 7.6 km course. Run as many (or few) laps as you desire over a 6 hour period. For those up to the challenge, the course record is 8 laps in 5:39.

We made it back safely from the Mainland after a glorious day of running.
The race was won by Gary Robbins in an incredible time of 4:13:xx
He was so far ahead of us all that it was as if he was in another race from the rest of us.

How do I play?

The Diez Vista 50K in on this Saturday, I'm running it for the first time, and the race's website is mum on the course route.

Let's leave aside the question of why the organizers do not provide this information.
But maybe some of you experienced folks out there would care to share the recent course description?
This doesn't need to be accurate regarding mileage, elevation, or trail names; I know the trails around Buntzen and Sasamat pretty well, so a general guiding would be good enough.

The Club Fat Ass Point Series is our most popular contest. The series was conceived to recognize attendance at Club events. It has grown to encourage Club members and guests to promote the Club, Club events and Club values.

Club members are a competitive bunch and competition for the bragging rights and spoils of winning the series is intense. From time to time, we have to take a step back and ask the question, "What activities should earn a coveted Club Point?"

My name is Kathleen Howell and I am the Photo Shoot Producer for Veer (www.veer.com), a stock photography company in Calgary.

We are coming to Vancouver to do some photo shoots between April 25-29, 2009.  We are going to do a casting call on April 23.

We are looking for real people to participate in these shoots, no experience is necessary.
