Club Fat Ass is a grassroots sports club with a worldwide vision. Our members host trail running, triathlon, cycling and other "active lifestyle" events for fellow members. Transrockies Night Before-calf injury?

Well, I've been fighting a calf injury all week. Chris has been working on it for me and I thought I shook it off yesterday but today it was very painful on our run. Nice easy warm up, but I could not run that well down.

2 Days To Go-Transrockies

Well, Friday night, sipping a glass of red wine at 11 000 feet. We actually trained pretty hard this week. Did a final 1:15:00 yesterday with a 20 minute tempo run. However, don't be fooled, at 11 000 feet running very slow gets your heart rate up to tempo rate-so no blistering pace by me. My partner Phil had a HR of 10 beats less so his fitness somewhat better.
