Proposed date for the JDFT

I would just love to run the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail this July 21st.

I'will check the tides and times but this will take a bit of planning.

I've done it faster from Botanical to  China beach Car pooling is the way to go for up to six and a driver.

That worked well last year....

Let's talk

Victoria to Duncan run

Victoria To Duncan run

I had made arrangements to visit a friend in Duncan, and after my January 28th. run to Mill Bay run the only thing that was bothering me was the bloody highway section...

Al Howie Was In Town....

Last night CGP, Ken Webb, another Ken(raw food) and I arranged to meet the E&N from Duncan. Al was invited, by Harriers Joanne Cowan to stay the W/E in her Goose-side B&B (Cycle-inn).

I hadn't seen Al since the Harriers 8K, back in '99 -I think, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Yes he is thin, yes he still wares glasses.

Carlos' Resolutions Thus Far

My resolutions this year:-

Forgeting about trying to convert my training runs into miles or kilomtres, well that was very easy, so that one doen't really count...

I didn't manage to up my training runs over 10 hours per week, my average this year was 10 hours almost bang on 10, so no real upping...

Make one of my runs at least 4 hours.(This I had to do as my work was encroching on my training!)

Get in some dawn running in the spring. (That worked well, I managed to do some doubles, running with my wife!)
