Pre-Seymour Super Fun Run, Run

As we cannot do the whole course next weekend, Bill and I decided to run it today. Definitely chilly up higher (enough to make our bladder tubes start to freeze) with some solid snowcover, but nothing extraordinary. Lower trails had barely any ground snow at all, but the bushes and trees sure looked pretty!

Hello everybody!

Just a reminder of my race here in Victoria.

The 24th.Annual running of the

"Island Runner" Elk/Beaver Ultras 2011.

This race will always be flat, fast and early in the season.the first Saturday in May.

I think that the 50 Miler will get the nod this year as the National Championship race.

Any first time marathoners want to do it here around the lake?

No cars! No worries, we are still looking for a solid CR for a newbie...

10/17/10 - Spirit of the Osage 50k race report

2010 Spirit of the Osage 50k – near Chamois, MO

Ellie Greenwood WON the women's 2010 IAU 100K World Championship race this morning!

A quick update for any of us not on Facebook...

This will come as no surprize to anyone who has competed against or watched Ellie running over the past couple of years, but she won the World 100k championship in Gibralter this morning.

Congratulations Ellie! Looking forward to running with (behind!) you again when you are back in Vancouver.

Morat Fribourg Feedback

Finally, we ran that really famous swiss run called Morat-Fribourg. It was the 77th edition (old Europe eh?) with 8721 people taking part of it.

Washington Run-about

Finally back at the computer and the forgotten cable for my camera.

Photos from my run in the Alpine Lakes area above Leavenworth WA are at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/34231648@N00/sets/72157625027046425/show/ This is an area I definitely want to get back to and explore some more. Unfortunately this trip was limited to one night as Oktoberfest started the 2nd day I was there and no accommodation was to be had for miles.

The Missouri "Trailogy" Series - Episode #4 - S.I.U.E. near Edwardsville, IL

The S.I.U.E. trail (Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is (predictably) on the college campus of Southern Illinois Univerity in Edwardsville, IL. This puts the trail slightly north and well east of St. Louis, MO.
