Ok, I am heading out now. A tad early I know, but I just spent 50 bucks to get my neck fixed, and I do not want to trip tonight. I will wear my sunglasses to get the full effect. Hope you guys have fun tonight! P

Sibylle and all,
I am sorry to say I can't make it to the run. I was just hired and sent a plane ticket to a job leaving early sunday morning for several weeks. I was looking forward to meeting you all and asking questions on how to improve my running. My raspberry-apple crumble will not go too waste, a friend has already laid claim to it!

I guess congratulations are in order for the job...
Sorry, we shall miss you and the raspberry crumble...if you like to get an early start to the airport in Vancouver, you are welcome to sleep at our place after the night run, though

I am very pleased to announce that Ron Adams has yet again offered to set up an aid station for this year's Capilano Canyon MardiGras night run. Aid Station Adams is on the east side of Capilano River just after you cross the bridge at Woodcroft at about the 1 hour point of both long and short courses.
Please come to the start with everything you need to be self-sufficient for up to 2 hours of night running. If you assume water and some friendly encouragement at Aid Station Adams, you may be pleasantly surprised.
If your friends or family are interested in helping at the aid station or you'd like them to bring you beer and moral support, contact me for details!

Course Conditions
I went out for a daytime run on the long course the other day. It's in very good shape with only a very little bit of snow and ice left on it.
Some tricky sections along MacKay Creek where the bank has eroded, however. Will this be the year someone falls into the drink?
