So far so Good-Training

Getting close to Miwok-10 good days.

With Miwok 100km fast approaching, and the test race, Diez Vista just over a month away, I feel this is the core training periods. I mostly post this so I can look back and be accountable to myself, but if it helps someone, even better.

Sat Feb 11-Yeti Race-10km -basically tempo run. Not a great race but a great workout. 56 min

Sun Feb 12-3 hours north shore trail run. Easy pace. 40 min spin at gym.

Monday Feb 13-25 min run to work. 1 hour run home. Both easy pace. 45 min gym spin and upper body weights.

Tues Feb 14-1:30 road ride, 1 hour easy run

Wed-off

Thurs Feb 16-1:15 run (40 min Tempo), 45 min spin, 55 min snowshoe

Fri Feb 17-3:20 north shore mid pace run (usually wait until weekend but had Sat all day course)

Sat-off

Sun Feb 19-3:40 north shore run, 2 hour snowshoe Mt. Seymour.


Managed to do core every other day. Getting stronger.

Hoping to run well at Diez but goal races at Miwok and White River. So far, feeling good.

Thanks for the update...but who is it?  For the New Years Resolution Contest it is probably best if we stick to the blog function opposed to forums for updates.  Blogs are for members only, so you would need to sign in.  Hope that helps.
