Cle Elum 50k Race Report

As I looked around I did not recognize a single runner, which was a good thing as I really wasn't sure how the day would go at that point. As the RD's were stalling for time someone asked what the course records were.

They replied, "Umm, not sure exactly..."

I blurted out, "4h17m men's William Emerson, 5h10m women's Krissy Moehl...uhhh, off the top of my head..."

"3, 2, 1, GO!!!"

If anyone is interested in my race report from this past weekend's Cle Elum they can follow this link...and it's not nearly as long and boring as my Stormy report was!!

Funny thing is Glen, I was thinking that exact thing while I was out there running!

50k that's just a warm up

the reason you didn't recognize anyone is because they where all at the Men's race. Next year you'll have to join us for a real 100+ miler. Nice work though. Still wish I could run that fast. Or finish a race. My report from the Plain 100 http://extremeultrarunner.blogspot.com/

I don't wanna spoil a good read for others, but DAMMM! Great effort Gary...congratulations! (Maybe if you'd brought some sesame snaps along, you would've staved off that hunger!)
