My nephew (almost 15) from Germany would like to ride on the local trails. He downhill bikes in Germany and classifies himself as an intermediate to advanced rider. His English is adequate to communicate and have fun.
Wondering if there is a group/couple of individuals he can join for a few rides. We would need to borrow a bike (advise where to do that also appreciated).

Should our Radfahrer still be in the area, I would love to go on a few rides. I myself have been looking for a cycling mate, downhill/cross-country to be precise. Our skills seem on par, although I do not have a spare downhiller or other and wouldn't know where to rent/borrow/buy one either. Let me know of further interest or updates!

Paul left last week... I connected him with a few guys from the North Shore MTN Biking Association. You might want to check them out to find buddies. There also are group rides from the bike store on top of Lonsdale (although they didn't have the courtesy to respond to my inquiry).
