please add 1:50 hr for Helen and me. We did the dogleg and left the rest of the 50k runers at Cleveland Dam to go back to Griffin Center via Edgemont Village (coffee stop is not included in the running time ;))
- Uphill slog from the Griffin Gym to the Cypress Quarry Lookout (thanks Wendy for making me descend down Capilano Canyon for some extra vertical). Avoided the powerline and dogleg by cutting west on Mont Royal. - Go Pro on my head not the most comfortable thing - fog and cool temperatures as I am ascending on the Trans Canada Trail - creepy crows following me - slippery, muddy trails...so much water - some new bridges and some in need of renos - grotesque looking dead seagull - yellow feet up in the air
- anis smell on the trail. Does anybody know what plant that is?
- thousands of trilliums blooming
- not so many salmon berries yet
- a Grouse thumping in the woods
- where are the bears?
- happy with my 3h climb - not so much a run, though.

Missed Opportunity
I should have picked up that dead rabbit on Nancy Greene Way for the garbage point. 20/20 hindsight...
thank goodness I missed Nancy
thank goodness I missed Nancy Greene Way and the dead rabbit. Dead seagull was enough roadkill in one day... Did pick up garbage though.
Thanks for the run, Wendy
