Way to go, Craig for running

Way to go, Craig for running the Van 100 yourself. You looked good throughout the day, looked quite comfortable actually. Hmmmm.....just wondering.....that was a pretty large field at Van 100 this year, most finished and on the whole they all looked good. Do you still hold the title of Cruelest Race Director?

Bill was amazing - our runners came into Nelson Park saying Bill passed them running "up" Black mountain, at Cleveland Bill's pacers complained he was pushing them.

When Randy got lost and was heading up some snow-covered mountain on Hollyburn, some hikers gave him a stern lecture , telling him he shouldn't be out there. Randy smiled and agreed, came down and had pancakes.

But Jess was the most amazing of all. You ROCK, girl!

Cold on Cypress

Wasn't that the perfect place for Mike to make pancakes? Bet the hikers are still talking about it!

split times

approx 12 and 16. I believe I slowed down significantly in the last 25 km...yup. 5 hrs to cleveland dam first way, 9 hrs to get back to Deep Cove headin home :p

Missing Crew

Just noticed my pacers are indicated but not my critically important crew -- Nicki Decloux and Mike Bjelos. They were out supporting me from 9:30 am (ish) until the finish.

still filling in the blanks

thanks for the info Bill. I hope others will help me fill in their blanks as well. There's still some time's missing and please would everyone check their crew/pacer info. I'd also be happy to post split times for the record. I know it will be helpful for others and also for the next time around. There will be a next time, right? Craig

7:30 to 1/2 way; 7:37 back -- couldn't ask for a better one!

First of all,

First of all, congratulations to all that participated in the Vancouver 100. Sounds like a wonderful day. Could all photographers/Flickerites please upload their images of the day to Flickr, the CFA Flickr group and tag with Vancouver100 Vancouver1002008 ClubFatAssEvents and whatever else you see fit. That way the photos will automatically be streamed to the Members In Action Photos on the right and I can create a slideshow with all event photos regardless of who took them.

Yes: thank you to Craig for

Yes: thank you to Craig for another great running of this event and to the AWESOME moving aid station team. And thanks to Mike W. for the expert trail-finding and marking -- half of us would still be up Cypress but for his labours.
