Location:
Bean around the world (Parkgate Mall) / Mt. Seymour
I am looking for a few people to join me on my Sunday morning runs. Let's keep each other honest and committed through the darker season.
I have a few new favourite trails that I became familiar with since last year. If you want to find out where to find Teacup or how to get to Pineapple Express from there then I'll be happy to show you. If you already know just show up for the company and the muffin after.
This is a reoccuring event for the next little while. So come out and join me.
Meet at 8am at the Bean around the World at Parkgate Mall at the base of Mount Seymour. Join me for a 90min run followed by a treat at the coffee place at around 9:30 and wrap it up around 10.
If the weather is somewhat decent you can let me know and we can get a head start around 7am too (maybe with headlamps then). We can do an extra lap before checking back at the coffee place to see if anyone else wants to join at 8am.
I've been living in the Mt. Seymour neighbourhood for about a two years now and have a decent knowledge of the local trails (although I still discover new ones sometimes).
We usually stick together and the speedier folks can get some intervals in by looping around as desired. If you have a good knowledge of the trails you can always get going and we reconvene at the coffee place otherwise I'll be happy to give you a tour of the area.
Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.

Get up early

With me it's the other way around. I get out early so I can still hang out with my family for the day.
Distance?
Hi Marc, what sort of distance do you generally cover in 90min? I'm interested, but am not very speedy.

Ride from Vancouver?
Sounds good, Marc.
Anyone driving up from Vancouver? Looks like the earliest bus won't get me there quite on time.

Okay, as long as it's alright to be a bit late, I should get there by about 8:05 at the latest. Cheers!

Awesome! I was saying to
Awesome! I was saying to myself, as a ran about on Mt. Seymour by myself this morning, "Where's Seymour Sundays when you need them?" I'm going to try to drag my sister-in-law out next week, see you then.
Sounds good
My regular morning runs are Mon and Wed if you are ever around.
See you Sunday.
