Flash - Quicksilver Spring Run off - Cochrane AB

SPRING RUN OFF

5k out and back, up to 6hrs
BIG HILL SPRINGS PROVINCIAL PARK, COCHRANE ALBERTA

We'll do the main 2.3k loop plus a bit, turn around and repeat the ~5k to our heart's content. Go for as long as you want up to 6hrs. No fires or dogs are permitted.

1. Park in the main lot (there is only one) at Big Hill Springs Provincial Park
2. 8:30 Pre-event meeting; sign waiver (nonmembers)
3. Start at the fence on the far side of the parking lot
4. Run the length of the parking lot and pick up the trail (on your left) at the picnic table.
5. Follow the main path to the end (back at the parking lot)
6. Turn around and retrace your steps back to the start/finish at the fence.
7. Record your lap on the clipboard. If your name is not already on the list, write it in. If you decide to do other trails/paths in the area, simply record your Garmin distance when you finish
8. Event ends when you decide or at 2:30pm at the latest

Your car will serve as your aid station.
