I can't wait for this event.
As it will be my first at this distance, I am aiming first and foremost to finish.
I have been running the course trails for several weeks now and think I have a plan that will work for me on the day of the event. Is there any shame that I see - as a key to my success - walking for 45min or so up that steep Old Buck trail until I hit Seymour road?
Any one else gonna be there? I have to ask as I had Mutha's mostly to myself but prefer to share. ;-)

On a side note, I have not been getting notification of new content/comments from the site...anybody else who usually subscribes to updates noticed this? Just trying to figure out where the hang up is...and apologies for not responding to comments...

I'll be there too. I'm flying in from Missouri to attend. I'm not great on the super hilly technical trails that the North Shore is comprised of, but I love it just the same.
Only my second trip to Vancouver, so it's exciting to me for sure!
