FLASH: Sunshine in September Recon Run

June 13/2010 UPDATE:Sunshine in September recon run is less than a week away! Let's take the 7:20am ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale. Should get us onto the 2:30 return ferry. Please add a comment by Thursday if you are joining us. We can carpool to the ferry terminal if there is interest.

You should plan on NOT having anywhere to leave bags on the Langdale side. We may luckout and have some people driving down to Langdale from Sechelt - I'll confirm later in the week if i hear.

In preparation for the 2010 Sunshine in September, we have planned a recon run of the course to finetune the course directions. Anyone interested is more than welcome to join us! Routes are 20 and 26k ('ish) along mostly single track trails just off the ferry terminal in Langdale on the Sunshine Coast.

Plan is to walk-on to the 7:20am ferry, run the course and return on the 2:30pm ferry. Since this is to finetune directions, there will be a fair bit of stopping and starting as we jot down notes.

Post-run get together will be on the ferry during the return trip. Once we have a beter idea of numbers we can decide whether to try and carpool to the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal.

Entry: There is no fee and you don't need to be a member of Club Fat Ass to participate in a Flash event, however whining is not allowed. No registration is required but please indicate your participation via the comment form below. You are responsible for your own well being and safety and should be self sufficient.
