What:
- A two day snowshoe hike in Garibaldi Provincial Park, family friendly (we will be hiking with our 10 and 12 year old children)
- Leave Vancouver before 9:00am (exact time TBD) on Sunday and should leave the trailhead near Squamish around 11:00 at the latest.
- It's a 12km hike to Elfin Lakes and a beautiful BC Parks cabin, where we will stay for the night
- On Monday, we'll have a lazy morning around the cabin before heading back to the trail head
- We expect to be back in Vancouver around 18:00 hour.
When: Sunday/Monday 8/9 March
What to bring:
- Winter hiking gear/clothes for 2 days, including but not limited to snowshoes, complete extra set of dry clothes and shoes.
- Sleep gear (clothes, sleeping bag and mat), headlamp, book, set of cards
- Kitchen (food for 2 days of hiking, plus emergeny allowance, water, cooking pots, plates, utensils, cup
- whatever else you would need on a two day hiking trip
- emergency gear
- cash for the park/overnight fees ($10 per person in cash and exact change)

Entry: There is no fee and you don't need to be a member of Club Fat Ass to participate in a Flash event, however whining is not allowed. No registration is required but please indicate your participation via the comment form below. You are responsible for your own well being and safety and should be self sufficient.
