Flash - Elfin Winter Wonder Sleepover

What:

• A  two day snowshoe hike in Garibaldi Provincial Park, family friendly (we will be hiking with our 10 and 12 year old children)
• Leave Vancouver before 9:00am (exact time TBD) on Sunday and should leave the trailhead near Squamish around 11:00 at the latest. 
• It's a 12km hike to Elfin Lakes and a beautiful BC Parks cabin, where we will stay for the night
• On Monday, we'll have a lazy morning around the cabin before heading back to the trail head
• We expect to be back in Vancouver around 18:00 hour.

When: Sunday/Monday 8/9 March

What to bring:

• Winter hiking gear/clothes for 2 days, including but not limited to snowshoes, complete extra set of dry clothes and shoes.
• Sleep gear (clothes, sleeping bag and mat), headlamp, book, set of cards
• Kitchen (food for 2 days of hiking, plus emergeny allowance, water, cooking pots, plates, utensils, cup
• whatever else you would need on a two day hiking trip
• emergency gear
• cash for the park/overnight fees ($10 per person in cash and exact change)

Entry: There is no fee and you don't need to be a member of Club Fat Ass to participate in a Flash event, however whining is not allowed.
