Tough but pretty. Figure 8 loops in beautiful Kalamalka Provicial Park. Fatass style with one major aid station for your drop bags.

I've made the loops just a bit longer so we only have to do the loops 6 times.
Kal park is beautiful and we should have some nice weather. Easy to find follow the signs to Kallamalka lake Pro Park Cosen Bay vernon BC.
Meet at the Cosen Bay parking lot 7:30 am to set up your own Fatass style aid. Course is marked well with flour shows great at night.

Well! Chilly Willy 2 into the "heat" was Chilly Willy into the "rain". Karl did you do a rain dance!
Five of us started at midnight in the rain laughing and joking with promises of clear skies in the near future. That was the joke! It rained all night. Three of the five drowned rats stoped at one 26.5 loop. One more droped at two and you know who was crazy enough to go for a third. Karl I couldn't do the 100 it without ya!

After coffee and food it was home for me to my hot house for 10 more miles in 39c. I like the heat better. Took an hour for me to warm up and sweat.
All in all it was fun. Rain was not bad but my Vernon running friends are not
"The Fools"! Or as crazy as me! :)
Sorry I missed it
I wish I could have been there Lorie. Too bad about the rain, but it wasn't my fault. You really need some heat training for Badwater.
Time change!!!!
We have decide that do to only Vernon runners doing Chilly Whilly into the heat, we are going to start at midnight tonight! This way everyone gets in on night running "and" we will have Sunday to recover.
Friday May 28 just before midnight we will start!
Sorry to hear that!
That's not good Karl!! You take care of that. Go for some AR treatment might just do the trick. It's gonna hurt though!
I'll show you how I was taught to tape your foot next time we run together.
Hugs to get better fast!
Me too!
It's disappointing, but that's just one of the realities of the sport. I'll keep working on it. It was getting better, but the long downs at Malcolm Knapp last weekend did a bit of damage. I'm hoping it's just a minor set-back in the long recovery process. I probably should have taped before the run.
I've been doing some ART on myself. Yeah, it hurts.
Obligated
Since this was my idea I feel somewhat obligated to sign up. Consider me registered.
Unregistering
Sorry Lorie, but I'm going to have to withdraw. Lorraine and I went for a short run this morning and the PF is quite painfull. I don't think it would be wise for me to run CW2, especially with Bighorn 100 coming up in three weeks. Not sure about the V100 next week, but it's not looking good either. Depending on how the heel is I might try doing only part of it. I really need some hill training.
Karl
Sorry to hear that you are
Sorry to hear that you are still sidelined with that PF. Hope it'll relent soon.
