What?

  • 50km, 25km, 10km or other custom distance on mostly paved bike paths and roads.
  • A run with Jesper Olsen, the first human to complete a fully documented run around our beautiful Earth.
  • A fundraiser for Jesper (he is planning to run the earth north to south) and the BC Lung Association.

When and Where?

  • 2007 date TBD
  • Start and finish at the Centennial Theatre, 23rd & Lonsdale, North Vancouver.
  • 10km run is to Capilano Road amd back.
  • 25km run is over the Lions Gate Bridge, to one end of Stanley Park on the Causeway and back up Pipeline Road to the Bridge and back home.
  • 50km is over the bridge, through Stanely Park, out to Kitsilano and back. I'll give you the turn around point and you decide to follow the suggested route or make up your own.
  • You are encouraged to customize this route, add some time on the seawall, stand on the bridge and shout out why you love Vancouver, and do whatever makes you feel good!

How Much?

  • Free for Club Fat Ass members ($50 for annual membership, $20 single-day membership, $25 if you register on the morning of the event)
  • To keep hassles on the morning of the run to a minimum and allow the host to participate as well we ask to please sign up for both, the club membership and the event online and in advance.
