How to get to the start The start is about a 40min drive from Whitehorse. Drive about 20km south-east on the Alaska Highway. At the South Car Corner/cut off turn right. Drive about 19km until you see the sign for Annie Lake Road. Turn right. The community centre is about 1km from the turn off.
Post Event Party
There will be a chili lunch provided by volunteers at the Mount Lorne Community Centre starting at about 12:30pm. Donations for the Mount Lorne Firehall are graciously accepted.
What to Bring?
- bring your own water and whatever else you need to survive 21km on the trails. There will be 3 water stations along the way, but plan to be self sufficient.
- slower, single runners might want to pack some bear spray/bangers.
Notes
- please read the Faq's
- please, please, please do not drop litter on the trail. (Consider picking it up if you find any.) Carry your empty gel packets, bars wrappers to a trash can.
- Dogs are permitted, but please keep leashed until you cross the highway.
- this event is not sponsored, sanctioned, permitted or anything else that would qualify it as an official event. It's a party!
