Hi Ean - if I can get out of bed early, I plan to start well before 8. Will send you my time and my route, if I don't go the distance. Have a fine trek down....P

Epic running weather forecast for the XTC tomorrow. Woo hoo!
I'm wounded. Don't want to wreak my calf for the 16th time, so am planning to run/walk ~15K from Cypress picnic area back to Griffin gym. Happy to have company of any other wounded warriors, fast hikers or newbies. If interested, suggested meeting times/places follow...
I plan to kick the run off at 8:00 at Griffin Gym then drive up to Cypress picnic area. Expect to arrive at the lot at the Cypress picnic area around 8:30.
Pat and Sibylle are planning to run the "Up" course at a leasurely pace and will drive car back to start... something to consider if you are planning to do the "Up" course and need a ride back. Best to put a comment below to reserve a seat.
If you're doing 50K and would like to have some goodies at the 1/2 way, pls bring to start and I'll take them to turnaround. My car is a Silver Subaru Forrester with ski box. I'll put your goodies in my ski box where they won't get eaten by bears or (hopefully!) faster runners!

Keep it to 1 Bottle of Wine
and you should be able to crawl out of bed. Look forward to seeing you on the way up and I run down.

Snow and Bears
I was at the Cypress Park start / 25K turnaround last night. No snow on the ground. But there was a black bear. Bring your camera and bear bells!
