I was up there today with the usual suspects...We ran the whole official course, and according to Al and his garmin, it told us that we ran hiked and scrambled over 21k of this fair kingdom.
The FULL monty starts at 7:00am. If you Mainlanders want to do this one you will need to come over on Friday.(camping available a mi casa)
The start of the MONTY(25ish K of techno.) will be at 11:00 that should give those with some directional disabilities the time to get directions on this side or the pond.
I promise to hang around to see you all finish, then if it is nice we can go for a swim in the nearby Durance Lake.
A very popular swimming beach less than a mile from the finish.
If you need to party some more you can crash in my back yard, Norma said if was ok.(bring a tent!).

It might have missed a few K in the gullies and dense bush, but that is normal.

The Monty
So, 27 days to go!
I am really pummped this year, mind you, when it comes to trail running, it doesn't take a lot to get me excited!
I have been training like a SOB for this one.
I am running the 1/2 distance "Monty" I am hoping to see a lot of you Mainlanders this year.
Do not worry about the Ferry.
Basically you can start when you get here.
This year I have added a shorter "sprint" distance.
The "Joclyn Jaunt" a two hour 10K...
The one major hill and back.
This would suite the active spouse.
As an Idea of my training for the "Monty" here is me and my "crew" doing our secret SOB training...
