I was kicking around the idea of my recent blog post, "B.C. 2010 - a good year, indeed...", and got to thinking. I realized that I'm pretty fortunate to travel as much as I do, especially to run - which I've done a LOT this year. However, my friends in B.C. aren't as mobile as I can be due to all sorts of reasonable obligations like kids, jobs, etc., etc.
So, my solution? Bring the trails to you! I'm only in Missouri for a short while longer until I move to Tampa, FL. So my idea of a "Trailogy" kills a couple of birds with one stone...
- Showcase some St. Louis area trails to show my B.C. friends how "we flatlanders" do it
- Create a tiny library of my favorite training grounds so I can reminisce about the hills I used to have when I finally get to a TRULY flat land - Florida.
I can't call it a "Trilogy" because there could be more (or less) than 3 episodes, but I like goofy plays on words so I'm sticking with it.
I won't have time to review all of my area favorites, but I'll get as many as possible before I move. 1st up will be Chubb Trail near Eureka, MO - so stay tuned for Episode 1!

Great idea!
I've been following your runs on Facebook and the CFA website, but the map really brings it home. Thanks for sharing.
