It's Sunday morning at 9:00. I'm just coming off a cold. Still feeling it, but it's shaping up to be a crisp, sunny day and I really want to get back on the running program. My buddy Troy calls, "Want to go out for an hour on the snowshoes on Cypress?" Humm. That sounds not too aggressive and just about what the doctor ordered.
I'm amazed at the number of people who have the same idea. By 10:30, the parking lots at the top of Cypress Mountain are full and cars are parked on the side of the road for as far as the eye can see in both directions. Blue, Troy's favorite hound, is keen.
It's a long slog uphill. During one of our pauses, Troy shows me his new waterproof digital camera. We take turns taking photos of Blue and each other.
The view from the top is breathtaking. There's not a cloud in sight and the surrounding mountains are spectacular.
Now the fun part begins. We take movies of the descent. Crank up your speakers and enjoy!

PS Troy has only made a couple of short films in his life. It took him about 3 hours to produce this using iMovie on his Apple notebook computer. All photos and video were taken using Troy's 7.1 MP Olympus Stylus 750 camera.
The movie is great. I love the effects used on it, especially the black and white part. Between you and your friend, I think the dog got all the fun.

The movie is great. I love

Now if only there was a function in I-Movie to make it look like you two actually know how to run on those things!
