Hey everyone tomorrow is the big day. 300k in the froze north. you'll be able to follow me at http://www.sleepmonsters.com and rockandiceultra.com Not to cold for pants yet ; )
What's going on? I am getting emails from around the world including from your aunt wondering how you are doing. The www.rockandiceultra.com website has not been update (at least not in an obvious spot) and sleepmonster only reports about the 160km race winner. We are all dying for news!!!

rock on Dan! er, rock and ice on I guess is more appropriate. good luck. hang in there and put to good use all the CFA lessons you've learned. Like, don't ride your motorbike in heavy rain and traffic when you're trying to get somewhere important and always remember your i.d. when crossing the border and also remember the ever important challenge of finding something even harder to do than the Vancouver 100 and the H.U.R.T. 100 ... I know you can do it!!!! Craig

Hey Daniel, "Gambate" is what a Japanese friend of mine always says to me before (and sometimes during) a race. Loosely translated I think it means "Go for itl!" "You can do it!" or "Be Strong!" Just the sound of the word motivates me (Gum-BAT-ay). So "Gambate!"
