Hell's out and back!

Next weekend will be the start to my tour of hell. It all starts with a 13hr motorcycle ride to Bozeman Montana on Friday to meet up with my HURT teammate Tina Ure. Then a 5:30am start of the "Devil's backbone 50 miler" a 25 mile out and back with one aid station at the turnaround, No trail markings, lots of snow and 11,400ft of climb. After the race it's back on the bike for a three or four hour ride back to my friends house in Postfalls ID. Get a few winks of sleep and a ride to the airport on Sunday. Jump on a plane for a nonstop flight to LasVegas. Then a 3hr drive out to Death Valley to crew Sarah lowell for the Badwater 135 ultra marathon on Monday. "If" I can survive crewing and pacing in the 130 degree heat then it's a flight back to Spokane on Thursday and a 8hr motorcycle ride back to Bellingham on Friday or Saturday. Sound like fun? only to me. Hell it can't be an worse then being stuck in a minivan with 5 guys for 60hrs on the R2R2R trip.

The run, the crewing sound fun. All that travelling sounds like a challenge. How do you stay hydrated on a 13 hour motorcyle ride anyway? It's a crazy schedule, remember to take extra good care of yourself.

Sounds like fun

Can't wait to hear all about it. Just please please don't make Badwater sound too cool. Gilles is always a glutton for punishment and I can see him concocting some sort of plan. BEst of luck!!!
