Gary Robbins Takes Second at Mountain Masochist !!!

Just Checked the web site and saw that Gary ran a 7:22:47 Congratulations Gary! His only goal in this race was to take top three and win the coveted entry into the 2009 western states endurance run. Job well done. can't wait to here the story. does this make him the only Canadian at western? not sure. though I bet he'll be the fastest.

I know Wade Repta got rolled over to 09 after it was cancelled this year but not sure what other Canadian's got in?

Bedtime for this guy, the adrenaline from the excitement of it all has finally worn off!

and there are a few CFA's on that list. But as far as betting goes, I saw the odds on Karl Meltzer's website: Gary was listed as an 8 to 1 favorite to win it all, but he'll still whupped 4 of the 5 guys who were listed at 3 to 1.

I just read the live update & I couldn't believe it. Holy crap...he did it!!! My beer trick worked...think I'll have another one to celebrate on his behalf. Eric Grossman won in 7:08. Glenn
