I am not sure what happened to the LSCR Gazebo but this is what it now looks like.
I noticed this on Sunday afternoon. I ran by here last Sunday but didn't notice any damage. I wasn't planning on taking pictures so this was just take with my cell phone.

Yeah - I saw that the week before last - rather impressive.
Have the trails around there (Baden-Powell, Twin Bridges, etc) improved any to become actually runnable.
Packed snow is one thing but powder is completely different!
Thanks,
Edward
Trails
Fisherman's, road to Twin Bridges, Briddle, Varlley, Homestead and BP are all hard packed snow. You need to stay on the main path on the trail and it can be narrow at times. I was only on a small parts of the BP. Briddle is actually patchy about 2/3 snow and 1/3 dirt from the BP to Severed Dick. Lots of trees and branches down all over the place. I would say you could run on it but not nearly as fast as normal.
Lovely. Thanks to both of
Lovely. Thanks to both of you.

The BP is somewhat runnable...
...but it's far from being free of snow.
I ran up Mosquito Creek to the BP, over to Mtn Highway, & up to the 2nd switchback before turning back to the start.
The crazy temperature inversion made for some interesting footing...the lower part of Mosquito Creek was solid snow & ice, but once on the BP (particulary up around the St George bench), it was quite soft & in some cases I was punching through. Mountain Highway was brutal as I posted through more times than not.
Everything was snow covered (with only very limited clear sections...but they were full of runn-off) & I found that some spikes were handy for the climbs.
Grouse to Deep Cove
Sad - It was a nice landmark
