Upcoming Core Running Camps and Clinics

Spring is here and so is running/triathlon season!  To help runners get ready I'm holding two special events, a one day running camp and a five week running clinic.  If you live in the Lower Mainland and are interested in improving your running performance while decreasing your risk of injury I urge you to attend one or both of these events.

 

 
Core Running Vancouver Camp Details
  • Sunday, April 11 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. 
  • You'll learn about efficient running technique and practice drills to develop it.
  • You'll work on stride length, cadence and hip activation.
  • You'll also do mobility drills to develop better flexibility in your ankles and your hips, two areas where virtually every runner I've worked with over the last 10 years had limitations. (I've worked with 350+ runners, triathletes)
  • We'll also cover running nutrition detailing what to eat before, during and after training.
  • Cost is $120

Core Running Strength & Technique Clinic Details
  • April 13 to May 13, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
  • Most runners neglect working on their strength, flexibility and technique.  This 5-week clinic will give you two weekly workouts which will help you develop these skills. (10 workouts total)
  • Develop a stronger core and stronger running muscles.
  • Improve your technique.
  • Increase your mobility and flexibility. 
  • Each workout will include strength & mobility exercises then technique drills.  The technique work will be done outdoors at Point Grey track.
  • This is not a bootcamp or run-of-the-mill fitness class.  This is sports conditioning clinic with innovative exercises and drills to improve your skills.
  • Cost is $220.
