Ultra Based Adventure Thriller - From Ice to Ashes

This just crossed my desk and might entice some of you:

Who would expect an ultra race would be used to launch an attack against the United States? No one, until it happens, on the fictional trail of the Yukon Arctic Ultra.

On 6 p.m. May 26 at Nicholas Hoare (45 Front Street) in Toronto and again May 31 at Ben McNally Books (366 Bay Street), Jessica Simon, will be reading from her first novel "From Ice to Ashes", a thriller set on the course of the Yukon Arctic Ultra. She invites all Toronto area adventure racers to attend for an insider look at adventure racing north of sixty. A short Q&A follows, so bring your Arctic Ultra questions.

Jessica has been a mainstay volunteer since the first Arctic Ultra in 2003, most often at Dog Grave Lake, a remote wall tent checkpoint, 40 miles off road. Those experiences feed this ultra-based adventure, and give readers a behind-the-scenes look at one of the toughest ultras in the world.
