For the 12th year The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival will return to Kelowna Saturday, October 27th at 7:00pm to present the "Best of the Fest" Tour.
This year’s program will feature 6 films featuring mountain culture, skiing, biking, climbing, paddling, and outdoor adventure from around the world!
In addition, Rene Unser, a Kelowna athlete and endurance running coach, recently completed her second Gore-Tex Transalpine Run race: an 8 day trail running race through the mountains of Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy. Rene will share how her journey started, her preparation, and stunning scenery photos. See how a love of the mountains has united people from all over the world and how one local athlete turned an opportunity to run as a way to give back to her community as a fund raiser and awareness for the BC Cancer Society.
