This sounds like an interesting research regarding the distortion of time you might experience while running.... Joseph Stroh contacted me via email and I thought I share it here:
"Hello, my name is Joseph
Stroh and I am a graduate student at Northern Arizona University in
the Department of Sociology. I am not selling anything and I am not
conducting market research of any kind.
I am looking for willing
volunteers to participate in an online survey asking people about their
experiences while running. These surveys will be used in my Master’s
thesis entitled Endurance Running: The Effect of Time Perception
Distortion and Socioeconomic Status. All information provided will
be confidential and no identifying information will be asked of you.
The survey will ask
you questions regarding any distortion of time you might experience
while running, and if this might have an influence on your performance.
The survey will also ask basic demographic questions as well as questions
regarding your income and if your income level effects your performance
or participation in competitive endurance running.
Unfortunately, my status
as a student precludes me from offering a monetary incentive for participation
in the survey, however, if you participate in the survey you will be
sent a write-up discussing the survey.
This research will
investigate if experiencing time perception distortion affects one’s
performance. Secondly, a focus on the relationship between competitive
endurance running and socioeconomic status will be explored.
If you are interested
in participating in my survey, are above the age of 18, are a competitive
endurance runner and are interested in the affects that a distorted
perception of time and income level may have on the participation or
performance of fellow competitive endurance runners please right click
on the link below and select ‘open hyperlink’ from the menu or press
the CTRL key and click on the link at the same time:

I also urge you to
pass this survey on to any other individual who you feel would like
to participate.
Thank you for your
time.
