On April, 17, 5 Peaks and Club Fat Ass will continue their tradition to offer 5 Peaks course orientation runs for the 5 Peaks Golden Ears race held later in April. I'm writing to ask if you are interested in being a run leader for this and future 5 Peaks/CFA course orientation runs. The perks, for each orientation run led, include a free entry to both a) one 5 Peaks race of your choice and b) one Club Fat Ass event of your choice (transferable to non-members) - what a deal!
We are very excited about this because it both a) provides a chance for 5 Peaks racers to preview our courses, and b) let's the local outdoor endurance sports community know that Club Fat Ass, like 5 Peaks, is not just about the ultra-endurance crowd, but rather about bringing in new folks of all levels as well.
There will be 4 orientation runs on the 5 Peaks courses during 2010. Thanks to Club Fat Ass member Craig Moore and 5 Peaks crew Eric Lorenz, who are organizing these runs.
If you're interested in leading a pace group on either the short or the long course in any of the warm-up runs, please
a) see http://www.clubfatass.com/events/flash-5peaks-warm-up and then
b) contact Sibylle
