The year is coming to an end and with it our annual contests.
There have been some interesting battles going on, secretly collecting points, promoting the travelling colour contest photos on Facebook and Flickr by the top contenders and rather foul smelling conclusions to the unwashed collectors shirt...but I am drawing the line now. Here are the winners:
Travelling Colours Contest: Lucinda won with her photo of the shoe tree along Highway 50. Lucinda won a refund on her membership fees for 2009. Second place goes to Colin's beautiful photo of Tyax Lake and third place is awarded to John, being a very happy Fool.

Point Series: First place to our garbage collecting hero, Des. He participated in 16 CFA events and collected trash during most of them, racking up 49 points. Des wins a certificate for a pair of running shoes from our business member, Kintec Footlabs. Second place was claimed by Bill. Bill collected 38 points through a healthy mix of referrals, photos, crewing and trash collection. His prize is a goodie bag from our sponsors Axis Gear. Third position is awarded to Jess, who - last minute - surpassed Baldwin by referring some friends and digging through her photo album. Total Standings are posted here.
New Year's Resolution Contest: And the winner is...Baldwin! He rated himself 91% on achieving his resolutions for 2008. I was tempted to deduct some points for not washing his CFA collectors shirt all year, but his lead was impressive and Baldwin truly deserved his win. Baldwin also is receiving a certificate for a pair of running shoes from our business member, Kintec Footlabs. Here are all the blog posts related to 2008 resolutions.
