Event Report: After volunteering all day Saturday for the Whistler 50 I was glad I didn’t succumb to temptations from my fellow volunteers to stay the night in Whistler and party. After all I had the responsibility to make sure my “Get your fat ass off the couch” run will be taken care of. So I did drag my ass out of bed instead in just enough time to grab a coffee at the “Bean” get everybody checked in and off we went. With the great weather we are having how could anyone not be happy.
Hardly anyone got lost and I promise to improve the course description for next year.
All in all a great day to make new friends and visit with some of the old ones. Thanks everyone for showing up, and thanks to the Bean for treating us with coffee.
