Never a dull moment when you go out on one of Gottfried’s training run.
We started out all together lasted about 20 seconds when the lead group of four runners broke away never to be seen again, the second group of five were in my sight for a few minutes ( I’m making progress)
The weather was not to bad for the first half hour or so, but then it started coming down like there was no tomorrow, Temperature dropped, the wind picked up. The Highway section was definitely a challenge for all of as, except for Benny, he was well protected from all the elements and traffic noise, running behind the concrete barrier. He is not just a handsome dog, he is also pretty smart.
To top it all off everyone took a Ice bath in one rather large semi frozen puddle.
Like I said a good time was had by everyone.
