A4K and the Fitness Freaks

Hello my friends,

Last year my friend Curb Ivanic (running buddy and personal trainer) had mentioned he was doing a '1000 rep challenge'.
I asked "what is that?"
He said "it's a bunch of bodyweight exercises that you do as quickly as you can.  You can't move onto the next exercise till your done."
I thought if Curb is doing this it must be pretty tough so I asked him "What are the exercises?"

This is the A4K 1000 rep challenge!

100 Jumping jacks/jump rope
25 Close-grip push-ups
25 Jumps
25 Pull-ups
100 Squats
25 Stickups

Help us get all kids "in the game"!

The Fitness Freaks are a bunch of guys who workout at lunch time, outside in any weather.  We want to inspire people of all ages both young and old to get active and take control of their lives!  Supporting Athletics for kids is a great way to give back and help build a healthy community!

Please support our team 'The Fitness Freaks' in A4K's 2010 Fitness Challenge, where some of us will do the either the 250 the 500 or the 1000 rep challenges (see http://www.a4k.ca/fitnesschallenge/ for the 250, 500 and 1000 challenges).  We will be doing the challenge on Friday, November 5th 4pm at the William Griffin weight room (http://www.northvanrec.com/facilities/rec-centres/william-griffin.aspx) .
