What
- A snowshoe trial night for anybody from walker to elite runner
- 3 levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced
- Organized in cooperation with CFA Event Host Gary Robbins and The Yeti's Marc Campbell.
- Snowshoes available at no cost through The Yeti
Where and When
- Tuesday, February 21 - 19:00 sharp (plan to be there at least 30min early to get your snowshoes and trail ticket)
- Meet at SnowTown (at the far north end of the upper parking area on the right hand side) on Mt. Seymour, North Vancouver, BC, Canada
What to bring
- snowshoes, if you own your own
- running shoes or light hikers
- long tights or water proof/breathable pants
- gators, some people like them
- headlamp and spare batteries
- Make sure that you layer, you will be cold at the beginning and then heat up the same way as you do on the road or in the trails. You will probably take off a layer after you start
- running jacket (waterproof/breathable), gloves, hydration (water bottle or back pack)
- Change of clothes for afterwards
Registration
- This event is organized courtesy of The Yeti and Gary Robbins. It is free, but there is a $5 trail user fee for all participants, please make sure to bring exact change
- We need to know how many people to expect and how many snowshoes we need. Please register here (limited to 40 participants) to reserve your spot and snowshoes.
