Sunday - 1 January: Vancouver New Year's Day FA 50

- Time = 7:03h
- Terrain = mix of pavement and easy trails
- Weather = uhuh...rain, hail, gail force wind, dry spells, 12c,
- had a great positive run. No major problems. Some hip
pain and discomfort in the toe joints (that's a new one), stomach
starting to be on the edge for the last 2h
Monday - 2 January:
- Rest day, but headed out for a 1h walk to loosen up
- muscles tender, but moving around, 1h walk; left Achilles tendon very sore and stiff, ice and ibuprofen
Wednesday - 4 January:
- Gym - 60min free weights and stretching
- Achilles tendon improving
Thursday - 5 January:
- planned easy 30min run, but intense pain in left heel hardly allows me to weight bear. Ice.
Friday - 6 January:
- left heel still extremely painful. Unsure if I'll be able to run tomorrow
- ice seems to help
Saturday - 7 January:
- 13km, Capilano Canyon Night Run course
- 1:45min
- mix of technical and easy trails and road
- heel a bit tender, but ok, ibuprofen and ice
