What: Ultra run (62km) from Gold River to Thasis following a hilly logging road.
Background: Every year hundreds of hikers and some runners set out to conquer the Great Walk. Brad and I have won it or placed in the top 5 on a number of occasions. Ean has won it and run home. Unfortunately, this year, the event was cancelled, but a duo of serious runners, Cliff and myself will do it anyway.... Cliff is hoping to raise awareness about wild salmon.
I am seriously considering taking this event on, for the Ultra runners to have a barn burner on the Island.
Maybe we can open it up as a PIH/Club Fat Ass Flash event type challenge...
Entry: There is no fee and you don't need to be a member of Club Fat Ass to participate in a Flash event, however whining is not allowed. No registration is required but please indicate your participation via the comment form below. You are responsible for your own well being and safety and should be self sufficient.
