Combination of single-track hiking & biking trails trails. Starts at the top of Burnaby Mountain, drops down to the base of the mountain then back up. A challenging run with a total elevation gain of 402 m on the Sports Course and
and 614 m on the Enduro Course
faster and slower pace groups on each course, so there's something for everyone

trail runners of any ability who would like to discover some new, but might not want to go it alone
trail runners who are registered or thinking of signing up for the popular 5Peaks race at Simon Fraser University on Saturday 12 June 2010. Get to know the trail you will race on so you can kick some butt on race day!

Please register for this free event here. There is no fee and you don't need to be a member of Club Fat Ass to participate in a Flash event, however whining is not allowed. You are responsible for your own well being and safety and should be self sufficient.

Directions to Simon Fraser University
From the East:
Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) going west — take the Gaglardi Way exit 37.
Lougheed Highway (Highway 7) going west — turn right (north) onto Gaglardi Way.
Turn right (east) on University Dr E., then turn left (west) on University High Street, which turns into E Campus Road. Follow E Campus Road until Parking Lot “C”.
From the West:
Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) going east — take the Gaglardi Way exit 37. Turn left (north) on University Dr E., then turn left (west) on University High Street, which turns into E Campus Road. Follow E Campus Road until Parking Lot “C”.
Or,
Lougheed Highway (Highway 7) going east — turn left (north) at Gaglardi Way. Turn left (north) on University Dr E., then turn left (west) on University High Street, which turns into E Campus Road. Follow E Campus Road until Parking Lot “C”.
Or,
Hastings Street (Highway 7A) going east — take the right lane exit at the traffic light at Barnet Highway (just past the pedestrian overpass). Continue onto Burnaby Mountain Parkway. Turn left (north) on University Dr E., then turn left (west) on University High Street, which turns into E Campus Road. Follow E Campus Road until Parking Lot “C”.
